Konner K1 Specs

The Konner K1 fuselage is made of carbon fiber which is designed as a single assembly that performs structural, support, containment and aerodynamic functions to ensure correct load distribution and reduce vibration from the engine nacelle. The helicopter propulsion system includes a three-bladed composite main rotor with a diameter of 6.80 m and a two-bladed tail rotor made of composite material. The drive shaft to the tail represents the expression of the high technology applied to Konner K1, which was constructed from carbon fiber so that it does not require intermediary support along the tail boom.

The helicopter has an electric power system called the Hybrid Assistent System (HAS) to help autorotation in the event of a loss of the main engine in flight. It has a skid-type landing gear. The dimensions of the Konner K1 include a length of 6.5 m, a height of 2.31 m, and a width of 1.52 m. The helicopter has an empty weight of 290 kg and a gross weight of 450 kg, and a useful load of 160 kg.
