AgustaWestland AW169 Specs, Interior, and Price – AgustaWestland AW169 is a new generation twin-engine multirole helicopter developed by AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company in Italy. The helicopter was intended to meet requirements that demand commercial operators and governments around the world. AgustaWestland AW169 was inaugurated at the Farnborough International Air Show in July 2010. The helicopter made its first flight in 2012.

AgustaWestland AW169 can be used for law enforcement, patrol, search and rescue (SAR), emergency medical services (EMS), utilities and passenger transportation missions. The AgustaWestland AW169 program is scheduled to achieve basic civil certification in 2014.

It is equipped with a modern avionics device that integrates three 8-x10 "active matrix liquid crystal displays, a four-axis digital dual-duplex digital flight control system (DAFCS) and a dual aircraft monitoring and mission system. Automated systems reduce workload and ensure operation Single or multiple VFR / IFR pilots.

Capitale Helicoptere Canada ordered three AgustaWestland AW169 helicopters in July 2011. AgustaWestland also received orders for two AW169 helicopters from Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance in July 2011.

In December 2011, Weststar Aviation Services placed a $ 150 million contract with AgustaWestland for ten helicopters including six AW139, two AW169, and two AW189 helicopters.
