Airbus H145 Specs, Interior, Cockpit, dan Price – The Airbus H145 is a medium-sized twin-engine multi-role helicopter manufactured by Airbus helicopters. This helicopter can be used in various operations / missions such as emergency medical services (EMS), law enforcement, search and rescue (SAR), business aviation, oil and gas, and utilities. The H145 helicopter was launched in March 2011 at the Heli Expo held in Orlando, Florida, USA, after completing its maiden flight in July 2010.

Airbus H145 is an advanced version of Eurocopter EC145. This helicopter has an all-composite tail boom with fenestron which is shrouded in the tail rotor. It features a new composite blade, a tail-rotor duplex actuator and dual hydraulic circuits, along with a newly designed gearbox. The H145 helicopter has an all-composite structure and aerodynamic geometry. It also has a skid-type landing gear.

The Airbus H145 is powered by two powerful Arriel 2E turboshaft engines manufactured by Safran Turbomeca. Each machine can produce a maximum power output of 1,038 shp. The engine is equipped with a dual channel full authority digital control engine (FADEC) feature and was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in January 2013.

Airbus H145 can fly with a maximum cruise speed of 248 km / h with a maximum range of 370 nm (680 km). The helicopter has a maximum weight of 3,650 kg (8,047 lb). The H145 helicopter has a useful loading capacity of 1,731 kg (3,816 lb) and a maximum cargo sling loading capacity of 1,500 kg (3,307lb).

The Airbus H145 all-digital cockpit features a new avionics series with three to four large main screens, and an enhanced human-machine interface (HMI). It has a digital four-axis automatic flight control system (AFCS) that allows pilots to overcome even the most demanding helicopter operations and environmental obstacles. This helicopter is equipped with a crew warning system and exclusive built-in test capacity that helps first-level pilots to handle failure, emergency management, and problem solving.

The H145 helicopter avionics suite includes a flight navigation screen, vehicle monitoring screen, vehicle management subsystem and two duplex aircraft management computers. Reference sensors, three inertia measurement units and two air data sensors are also installed. Avionics further includes two three-axis magnetometers, integrated electronic standby instruments, fire extinguisher warning systems, and digital engine control systems.

Airbus H145 has a spacious cabin that can accommodate one pilot and ten passengers or two pilots and nine passengers. It has a total cabin volume of 213.15 ft3 and a cargo volume of 6.04 m3. Two hinged cockpit doors are provided and sliding windows. This cabin has two passenger sliding doors and two rear hinged clam doors. It is equipped with ram-air and an electric ventilation system.

The price of the latest Airbus H145 helicopter is around US $ 9.7 million. HTM Helicopter Travel Munich made an order for one helicopter in February 2012. This helicopter is used to provide services in offshore wind farms. Scandinavian Air Ambulance ordered four H145 helicopters in February 2012. This helicopter provides emergency medical transportation services in northern Finland.

Airbus helicopters received orders from Germany-based Landespolizei Baden Württemberg for the delivery of six variants of law enforcement from H145 helicopters in December 2013.

Luftrettung DRF placed an order with Airbus Helicopters for 25 helicopters in November 2011. The first H145 helicopter was sent to Luftrettung in July 2014 and deliveries are expected to be completed in 2022.
